Frozen Harbor days - note new agenda!
From The Docklines Newsletter: (Commodore Joel) In case you missed.....
I have done some research up in the TC area and thought we would try something new. We'll be gathering at the Cambria Suites in Traverse City on the weekend of February 24 & 25, 2012. Cambria Suites is a licensed Hotel with food and beverage. The yacht club will provide all food including non-alcohol beverages for both nights and location. There will be a cash bar available for us by the hotel (alcohol is not permitted to be brought in). Overnight reservations can be made at (231) 778-9100. Please be sure to refer to the Elk Rapids Yacht Club to get our room rates.
Friday night is a very casual gathering for cocktails and appetizers in the lounge area of the Cambria which will start at 6pm. After Happy Hour, dinner is usually at a restaurant of your choosing. On Saturday evening we will be in the conference room with appetizers, finger food, cheese and crackers, vegetable trays etc. along with non-alcoholic beverages. There is a brief business meeting where new officers are installed and any news about the harbor if available. In true ERYC spirit, there will be drawings and a good time to be had by all. Prizes for the drawings are donated by members, so if you'd like to bring something to contribute.......
